Communication managers in medium to large cities are responsible for teams that sent out email communication based on lists that citizens signed up for. Those managers found it difficult to control the quality of email designs across their team and wanted to start with a template.

I worked with the product manager to fully understand requirements and the product owner and dev team to design an email templates experience. I conducted discovery interviews at the start of the process to see how advanced bulletin editor was being used by communication managers and what workarounds they had found to solve their problems.
